Lil's Sassy SalsaIt's a story of a dream come true. Since childhood, Sassy loved to cook and bake for her family, she dreamed one day of owning her own business in the food industry. For a short time in California, she was successful as a cake decorator, but eventually went to full time work as the kids got older. But she never stopped dreaming, she kept trying different ideas. And then one day in 2002 after living in Arizona for a decade, that dream slowly became a reality when one fall day, in her own back yard, she and her son decided to grow some chili peppers. Sassy's crop was so big, she didn't know what to do with all the peppers. So she began making different types of salsa and gave them as gifts to friends and family. After many months of research and long hours of perfecting her recipe, and with the help of her family and the encouragement of her friends she jumped in with both feet and took the leap with her special home style Salsa. This is just the beginning for Sassy! We have recently gone through a name change but that has not stopped our momentum.
